It has been a hot hot hot weekend in Oregon lately. We are not used to 100F degrees and sunny weather in Portland. We semi escaped it by going to the river this weekend. We biked two miles into the park and then camped on the beach. It was magical to sleep by the river with only the sounds of frogs and crickets to lull me to sleep. I woke early to take pictures of the sunrise at dawn because it was to beautiful to roll back over and go to sleep.
